Required Supporting Documentation

Copies of your ID (front and back if card)
Copies of your passport (including exit stamp and relevant travel stamps)
Proof of permanent residence in the foreign country, if applicable
Certificate of tax residence from the foreign revenue authority or a letter confrming tax residency
Last tax return filed in the foreign country
Marriage certificate
Proof of address (dated within the last 3 months)
Details of any remaining business interests in South Africa (e.g. investments, employment)
Type of visa held for entry into the foreign country
Information on any immediate family members residing in South Africa and the reason for their presence
Birth certificates of minor children and proof of their presence in the foreign country (e.g. school registration documents)
Details of any property still owned in South Africa and its current use
Employment contract or appointment letter in the foreign country
Information on social interests (e.g. gym memberships, recreational clubs)
Location of personal belongings
Any additional evidence demonstrating the intention to permanently reside in the foreign country.
