Onboarding - Legal entity
To begin the process, please email the following documents to Admin@nuwell.co.za
Required Supporting Documentation
a. Legal Entity Documents
- CIPC Registration documents
- Bank Account confirmation letter
- Proof of business address
B. Beneficial Ownership & Control
- Organogram of Beneficial ownership
- CIPC Beneficial Ownership Mandate
- Shareholder's Agreement (If applicable)
- Share Certificates and registers
- ID Copies for all directors, members, and shareholders (5%+)
- Proof of Residential Address (< 3 months) for all Directors and Members.
C. System & Software Access (Digital Handover)
To ensure continuity, the following access is required to take over the accounting function.
- SARS Efiling: Approval of the tax types transfer.
- Accounting software access or backup.
- Payroll software access or backup.
- CSD Username and passsword or secondary user access.
D. Technical Handover (From previous accountant)
This section ensures the accounting firm receives the necessary historical data to prevent "messy books".
- Trial Balance: Finalised version at last year-end and current YTD.
- General ledger Export: Transactional data for the previous 2 years (CSV).
- Annual Financial Statements
- Fixed Asset registers
- Schedules: Detailed lists for debtors, creditors and loan accounts.
- Import Files: Full Sage Backup (.ZIP/.CAB) or Xero historical export.
- COID: Last figures submitted and last Letter of Good Standing.
